Women Empowerment Cell

The College has established a Women Empowerment Cell in the year  2017 to empower the girl students and women staff members of the college.  Its purpose is to improve gender sensitivity and to organize diverse programmes to produce a conducive environment in the campus.  It works for the well being of students an staff members in order to prepare them for dealing greater challenges. 

Activities

  • The cell conducts guest lectures, seminars, awareness programmes and other welfare activities for the empowerment of staff and students.
  • Enhance the understanding of issues related to women and to address the issues regarding the welfare and equal opportunities for students and staff members.
  • It aims at creating awareness of their rights and duties with a view to take up women’s issues and problems.  It is a platform for the students to share their experiences regarding women development in the society.
